A photographic journey into isolation during lockdown

THESE 4 WALLS is Travel with Mer’s first photo documentary, recording how the COVID-19 lockdown unfolded in London. At the start, the sociologist – specialised in media representation – cautiously looked at isolation with curiosity. I had to record this for posterity, in one way or another.

My tripod has become a permanent fixture in my living room so I can react to the ebbs and flows of my mental health: the good, the bad and the downright terrifying.
