India from an autoricksaw

A cheap and common way to move around in India is by hiring autoricksaws (or tuk-tuks, if you’ve been to Thailand). A prevalent mode of transport for locals and visitors, I found it was the best way to see a city or town. The drivers will often be happy to explain the history behind an area or a building, and will wait for you while you shop, visit, or take your photographs.

By the time I left India, I had been in and met more autoricksaw drivers that I can count. Here’s a view of India from this beloved yellow vehicle.
